Instructors

Belay courses are taught by experts in the fields of food allergies and continuing education

Our instructors have been trained in the accredited E.P.I program created by Belay.

Instructor Competence

To ensure that Belay instructors deliver the course to the highest standard, each Belay instructor undergoes quarterly reviews, which include course audits and an in-person interview with the Head of Education. Evaluations are recorded via formal written reviews. In addition, all instructors are required to complete two professional development workshops annually in related medical fields and/or educational techniques.

Proprietary Interest Disclosure Policy

All Belay instructors that are hired to teach courses must divulge any interests (financial or otherwise) in any of the products, instruments, devices or materials that may be included in course training materials. Currently, none of the Belay instructors have any proprietary interest in the products, instruments, devices or materials used in any of our courses. As part of its educational activity, Belay presently offers a free mobile app that helps parents communicate with caregivers about their children’s food allergies.
